  Great choice of very tasty burgers, delicious salty fries and old fashioned thick shakes, with lots more on the menu too. Hectic at lunchtime but well organised and fast very friendly service. Highly recommended, eat in or takeaway...

  I travelled the east coast and went here twice on the way up and down! it is just insane delicious and well served. Fresh ingredients and salty fries. Try to dip your fries in the shake! Awesome thanks to bettys!

  Tonight I went to this place and received the worst treatment I have ever received in a restaurant in my entire life. Never again! We were a group of 4 plus a baby in a pram. The young guy who greeted us in the line was fine and told us he'd get us a booth and to just wait for one to become available (no problems). After a short wait he advised us to go order at the counter and he'd take us to our table. My wife and I ordered and then waited for our other friends to order. As they were ordering, a tall guy with black hair came out of the kitchen and rudely told them their pram was in the way. He then turned to me and then very abruptly asked me why I was standing there and I explained that the young server told me to go and order and then he'd have our table ready. He then pointed at a table and told me to go there. I mentioned that the young guy had told us he had a booth for us and this guy (the manager I think) very rudely asked me if I could see any booths and to go sit down. I went to sit down at the table he pointed at and then the young guy came back and then pointed at another table we could sit at so I went to that table. At this point the tall dark guy came and growled at me for sitting there and I explained that the younger server had told me to go there at which I told him I don't care where I sit, but I'd been told by his staff to sit there and that I didn't appreciate his aggression. At this point he actually grabbed me by the arm to stop me from sitting!! I again reminded him that I don't care, but I don't appreciate being abused by staff at a restaurant. At this point the entire restaurant is watching this. He let go and I went back to the table he pointed at. He very insincerely said sorry as he bought our food over. Every single interaction we had with this guy was rude and then became aggressive!!! I cannot believe the treatment we received. This guy needs firing, you cannot mistreat customers like this.

  It's often difficult to review a "restaurant" as its not just the food we must consider. So look, there is nothing wrong with Betty's, in fact there is a lot right. Great food, fast service, good style, varied menu and good location. I am being picky now but that what a review is for right? The outside staff don't carry through with the rest of the service. They seem shy, unsure and lack confidence (could be new staff for the season finding their feet or more training is required) Still a good 4 star, haven't found a better burger bar yet.

  The five stars are well deserved. Great tasting burgers (they actually look like the ones in the pictures) and the thick shakes are phenomenal. What really makes this place stand out is the service. A lot of businesses could learn a few things from these guys. The place was packed but the service was so efficient. Despite the massive queue to get in (a sign of a good venue), we were seated within 15 minutes. Service with a smile was definitely here. The place is well presented and clean. I’ll definitely be back.
