The 5 pot curry lunch was very disappointing. We didn’t even receive the condiments and the roti beard was very average. I would have expected better from such a restaurant. We had seen the previous bad reviews online but though we would still give it a go. However the whole experience was bad, the music was inappropriate and the service was poor. When we asked about the condiments and were told as we had already eaten most of the meal the condiments on their own don’t taste that good anyway. Which basically summed up the whole meal.

With all the hype both visits; dinner and casual lunch next day were disappointing. The staff were great but the limited menu offered little and once delivered were pretty ordinary. The chefs tried too many differing tastes for all meals and the pickled grapes for the lunch cauliflower salad were virtually inedible. Sorry tried twice. Wouldn't go back. Seating for a romantic twosome at dinner were squeezed between two other couples with no privacy. Window seating in casual cafe looking onto Hasting Street was great. Sorry guys. Better options elsewhere.

Venue is very nice and what you would expect from a fine dining restaurant. Had the seafood tapas and that was good. For mains we had the signature curry snapper and Wagyu sirloin, the snapper was the better of the two. For dessert I had wattalappam and that was delicious, definitely recommend.

Good location and right behind a happening bar so a great location for a night out. The curry snapper gets all the attention and is really nice even an introduction but the waiter prior to eating. The other plates do not. We were there in opening and you could see it not a well oiled machine first up. Recommend having a drink at the bar before your meal if you can get a spot.

All day dining option is easy with the family. Nice food and drinks to chill out. Relaxed service to visit all day long. Kids menu was good.
